Non-commercial Usage
Images may be used under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike
(CC BY-NC-SA) license if the usage is non-commercial. This license requires that you include attribution along with the image. If the usage is on-line, you must also include a link back to the image’s page on this website.
Here are some examples of non-commercial usage:
- Use of the image in a blog post describing your recent vacation
- Use of the image in a school project
- Use of the image in your personal social media profile
Commercial Usage
All commercial usage requires the purchase of a commercial license before you use the image. License fees are based on a several factors such as the type or usage (editorial, advertising, book cover, etc.), duration of use, size/prominence, and geography. To obtain a commercial license please contact the studio with details of your intended usage.
The following are examples of commercial usage:
- Inclusion in an article/editorial which is supported by advertising of any kind (even Google AdSense)
- Inclusion in a blog post, collateral, or marketing campaign for a business
- Inclusion in a fund-raising campaign or annual report for a not-for-profit entity
- A background image for a website/blog relating to your business
- An individual print for use in a private home or business
- Inclusion in an album cover for your band
