Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station is a coal-fired power plant on the south bank of the Thames river in London, England. The plant was decommisioned in 1983 and has remained largely unused until 2012 when redevelopment plans were approved. the power plant has been featured numerous times in popular culture including the cover of Pink Floyd's 1977 album Animals.
